More than a Women’s Commisioner

Due to low participation of women in student politics, the position of Women’s Commissioner seem to have been created to somehow have them represented. In schools in Ghana Institute of Journalism where the female to male population is high, female representation matters but they don’t normally go for the known “hard” positions. Here, a female Electoral Commissioner blows the whistle to signify the close of polls at a Student Representatives Council Executives election.
